It's funny how, the longer one lives, the less age makes a difference. Life experiences are what link me to so many people, whether they are a quarter of a century younger than me or a quarter of a century older. I am a spiritual person who is also well versed in the ways of the world. In my younger days, life's motto was "sexdrugsrocknroll" or "eatfuckskydive," from which I transitioned gracefully into the era of homemade yogurt, homegrown sprouts, organic babyfood and cloth diapers. I have been married, divorced, remarried; had children, step-children, adopted children and foster children. Raising children has been an excellent opportunity to learn all the things that I missed when I was growing up and thinking that I already knew it all! After only one semester at the UAF (1979), I left Alaska to skydive across America, hitchhike through Mexico and "find myself." (I'm still looking). Education is an ongoing effort in which I take great pleasure. The area of study that appeals to me most is that of the Social Sciences, and I love American Sign Language (although I'm not very fluent). God, family and friendships are my priorities. I love life!
